Why install a separate app for making notes and clippings in iPad when the iPad's screenshot feature is enough? The iPad's high-resolution display makes it ideal for making captures of more than just installed apps. If you're reading a magazine, you can take full-page screenshots of workouts, movies, pin-ups (which you can use as wallpaper for your iPad), and interesting pages or articles in a website or PDF. Unlike bookmarks in a PDF, browser, or note-taking app, you can always refer to the page/photo/capture just by opening the Photos app in iPad.

The steps to take a screenshot in an iPad is the same as the steps on an iPhone or iPod. Hold down the lock button for a few seconds and press the iPad's button. The screenshot will be saved on the Photos folder, which you can later refer to or download to your PC or Mac using iTunes.
